NEW YORK YANKEES TRADE RUMORS - JAZZ CHISHOLM AND JONATHAN INDIA TOP BOMBERS' LIST DESPITE 3B NEEDS, PER INSIDER

The New York Yankees must address their issues at third base ahead of the MLB Trade Deadline. They have not gotten much from DJ LeMahieu this season, and he has become a liability at the plate.

Luckily for them, some exciting infielders are believed to be on the move before July 30. Names like Isaac Paredes or Jake Burger could intrigue the Yanks, but MLB insider Jim Bowden sees them going in a different direction.

During his MLB Trade deadline Q&A, he was asked which players the Yanks are most likely to acquire to address their third base needs. Bowden stated that Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Jonathan India could be realistic acquisitions.

Acquiring either player would boost the lineup. Chisholm Jr. is currently hitting .248/.320/.407 with 13 home runs and 50 runs batted in. India has hit .271/.374/.415 with eight home runs and 40 runs batted in across 94 games.

Yankees could also solve third base problems by reaching out to the Los Angeles Angels

While Jonathan India and Jazz Chisholm Jr. are on the Yankees' list, they are not the only infielders who could help out the club. Los Angeles Angels slugger Luis Rengifo is also thought to be on the move.

Rengifo has experience playing both second and third base. He is also a switch hitter, making him a great fit. However, the Yanks would be taking a risk defensively.

Rengifo has struggled defensively throughout his career while moving across various positions. Last year, he played every position but pitcher, catcher, and first base.

It will be interesting to see what Brian Cashman and the rest of the front office do with the MLB Trade deadline approaching. They have some holes to fill and not much time to do it.
