SEVERE WEATHER THREATENS CRUCIAL WEEK 14 NFL MATCHUP

The 8-4 Indianapolis Colts will face the the 8-4 Jacksonville Jaguars for sole possession of first place in the AFC South standings on Sunday afternoon.

The Jaguars will host the visiting Colts at Jacksonville’s EverBank Stadium, which is set to experience some severe weather throughout the Week 14 contest.

Periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms are projected around game time, likely impacting the way this crucial divisional matchup is played. In addition to the serious rainfall, the weather forecast projects 60 degree temperatures and 12 mph wind gusts.

The Colts began their 2025 NFL season with an 8-2 start, but have since lost each of their last two games. Coming off its Week 11 bye, Indianapolis dropped back-to-back games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans.

The Jaguars are on the opposite trajectory. After starting the year with a 5-4 record, Jacksonville has notched wins in each of its last three games — beating the Los Angeles Chargers, Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans in three consecutive weeks.

The Colts haven’t won an AFC South title since 2014. Similarly, the team hasn’t notched a victory over the Jaguars in Jacksonville since 2014.
