Almost exactly one a month ago, we had an open thread about your biggest concerns regarding the Seattle Seahawks roster. Let’s take a look at some of your responses!
Well the NFL Draft has come and gone, and the Seattle Seahawks have added eight draft picks and a slew of undrafted free agents. If you need a refresher, here are the drafted players and UDFAs:
Round 1, Pick 16: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas
Round 3, Pick 81: Christian Haynes, G, UConn
Round 4, Pick 118: Tyrice Knight, LB, UTEP
Round 4, Pick 121: AJ Barner, TE, Michigan
Round 5, Pick 135: Nehemiah Pritchett, CB, Auburn
Round 6, Pick 172: Sataoa Laumea, OT, Utah
Round 6, Pick 192: D.J. James, CB, Auburn
Round 6, Pick 207: Michael Jerrell, OT, Findlay
The Seahawks didn’t draft a quarterback, only took one inside linebacker, and didn’t add any safeties in the draft or the UDFA market. We did see them draft multiple guards, including a possible Day 2 gem in Christian Haynes. Tight end was addressed through fourth-round pick AJ Barner and undrafted ex-Huskies standout Jack Westover. Seattle skipped out on adding running backs, receivers, and edge rushers through the draft, but did sign several UDFAs at all three positions.
With all of that in mind, how do you feel about the Seahawks roster now? Have your opinions changed from pre-draft to post-draft? Let us know in the comments!
