LADY RAIDERS ADD 6’3″ CZECH FORWARD FOR 2025-26 SEASON

LUBBOCK, Texas— Head coach Krista Gerlich has signed Julie Nekolná, a 6-foot-3 forward from Prague, Czech Republic, to the Lady Raiders for the 2025-26 season.
As a sophomore in 2024-25, Nekolná started in all 36 games, assisting the Bucs to a 31-5 overall and a perfect 15-0 record in the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC). Nekolná was named the ACCC Player of the Year and led Shelton State CC to its first NJCCA National Championship game.
Nekolná shot a team-high 56.5 percent from the field and 80.6 percent from the free throw line, totaling 524 points.
Nekolná will be a junior with the Lady Raiders next season.
