The 2025 college football season is officially in the books.
It's time for the reveal of the 12-team College Football Playoff bracket on Sunday, Dec. 7, following the conclusion of conference championship games on Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6. Sunday's reveal could be a big day for the SEC, which could have as many as five teams in the playoff.

Indiana shocked defending national champion Ohio State 13-10 in the Big Ten Championship, and will claim the top overall seed of the CFP. In the SEC, No. 3 Georgia (No. 3 in CFP) exacted revenge against No. 10 Alabama (No. 9 CFP), downing the Crimson Tide 28-7 and raising questions as to whether the Crimson Tide may be left out of the CFP.
No. 21 Tulane (No. 20 in CFP) locked up its spot in the CFP on Friday, Dec. 5 after beating Drew Mestemaker and No. 20 North Texas (No. 24 in CFP) 34-21 in the American Championship game. Elsewhere, 19th-ranked Sun Belt champion James Madison (No. 25 in CFP) did its part to make the CFP with a 31-14 win over Troy and got the help from Duke it needed in the ACC Championship as the five-loss Blue Devils knocked off Virginia 27-20 in overtime.
